Senior actor Sachin Parikh was recently left spellbound by the huge audience reaction to his apparent death track and demands of return to the show, in Zee TV‘s popular show, Vasudha, produced by Arvind Babbal Productions. As we know, his character, Prabhat Singh Chauhan, was assumed to be killed by the antagonist Karishma (Pratiksha Rai). However, his return has revitalised the family, who are now all ready to give it back to Karishma and get back their property from her.

The show has seen a new shift with Sachin Parikh donning the role of the business tycoon, Mr Mittal, to overpower Karishma and beat her in her own game.

We at IWMBuzz.com talked to Sachin Parikh about his new avatar in the show and his dramatic shift.

Talking about Mr Mittal, he says, “Mr Mittal is a complete opposite persona in terms of look, attitude and personality. He is a vivacious business tycoon shown and planted by no one but us, the Chauhans. He is a fake identity in front of Karishma to show his terror as being one of the biggest enemies of the Chauhans.”

About his new shift in the show, the actor says, “I am playing both the roles simultaneously, so loving the whole track, as it presents a challenge for me as an actor. It is certainly a treat to play two different roles with varied personalities in the same show.”

Regarding the diverse aspects of both his characters, Sachin avers, “Prabhat is generally a very subtle and soft guy. Even his anger is not loud, whereas Mittal is arrogant, loud and dangerous.”

Talking about the present track, he says that it makes it all the more interesting as the viewers know all about the secret. “Basically, the audience knows the fact that Prabhat is Mittal right from the beginning. So there are no suspense elements in the plot except for Karishma and the gang.”

He is enjoying the added responsibility of carrying both the personas and their complexities. He says, “It is all the more complex for me as I am Prabhat when Karishma is not around and Mittal in front of her. This phase gives me a wider range and graph to perform.”

The actor has exhibited a good range of voice modulation for this role. “Whether it is the voice, speed, pauses, or body language, everything that Mittal does is different from Prabhat. So at the moment, I’m living three different lives at the same time and loving it.”

Lastly, he is happy seeing the viewers’ reactions to this twist. “Audience is pleasantly surprised to see Prabhat in this avtaar and also rest assured that Karishma will now be punished. They wait for the day when Prabhat returns home, meets Chandrika, gets her out of the trauma, and regains the property and business. But you never know what is in store for the audience now.”

Best of luck!!
