Actor Samir Onkar will make a thundering entry into Rajan Shahi’s long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus.
Playing the character of Samarth Goenka, the man who has come to destroy the happiness and peace in the Goenka family, Samarth knows the darkest of secrets of the family. As the story will progress and as the past would come to the fore, it will threaten to destroy the happiness in the lives of Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi).
Says Samir as he talks about his entry, “Samarth is a rebellion to the core. My entry will happen on the day of Dussehra (tonight’s episode), the day which actually marks the victory of good over the evil. As Raavan gets destroyed in the fire, Samarth’s entry happens which symbolically tells that though Raavan gets burnt, evil does not die and returns every time. He will unearth the truth of the past which will ruffle the feathers of the Goenka family. He is tortured somewhere by the Goenka family. He cannot share his sorrow and grief with anyone and he is now here to take revenge. Dadi (Swati Chitnis) and Manish Goenka (Sachin Tyagi) know of his and the past, but nobody else in the family is aware of who he is.”
