Zee TV’s show, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment, has shot to the top as the No. 1 show this week. This surge in popularity can largely be attributed to the strong support on social media for the lead couple, Siddhu and Sneha, affectionately called SneDhu, portrayed by Sheizaan Khan and Amandeep Sidhu. The recent wedding storyline, where Siddhu married Sneha against her wishes, has brought a sense of relief to their fans, despite Sneha’s denial of any feelings for Siddhu. She believes he betrayed her trust by concealing important truths.
Talking to IWMBuzz.com exclusively, Sheizaan Khan shares his happiness with the show hitting the top mark, saying, “Having Ganga Mai Ki Betiyaan as the No. 1 show is an incredibly overwhelming moment. Siddhu and Sneha’s journey has seen many ups and downs, and there was a time when they drifted apart. Seeing fans rally behind them and passionately root for their reunion on social media truly touched me. This achievement belongs to our audience as much as it does to the entire team.”
Talking about the upcoming track, he says, “As for Siddhu and Sneha’s relationship post-marriage, I think uncertainty is the biggest emotion right now. Sneha is deeply hurt because Siddhu hid such an important truth from her, and at this point, she is unable to see that his actions, although wrong, stemmed from his love and desire to keep her in his life. However, one thing viewers can be sure about is that Siddhu won’t give up. No matter how many challenges or dramatic turns come their way, he will continue trying to win Sneha’s love and trust back.”
Interestingly, Amandeep, in her recent interview with IWMBuzz.com, had mentioned that they now anticipate their show to become the No 1 show.
