Young and talented Tina Philip, who rose to fame with Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee, recently made a smashing comeback as Rhea in Zee TV’s one of the longest-running shows on television Kumkum Bhagya.

Before the six years leap in the show, viewers always witnessed Rhea in the negative role, someone who is selfish, cunning, and always trying to separate Ranbir and Prachi. With her comeback in the show, the viewers are in for Rhea’s new avatar. In an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, Tina spoke about her new avatar in the show, challenges, and more.

How do you feel to be back on the show after a small break?

It feels great to be part of the Kumkum family again. I missed shooting since I am a workaholic and missed seeing everyone on set. But now I am back with new energy and more enthusiasm. Having a break always helps to renew your energy and come back with a new zest for your character.

What Kumkum Bhagya means to you?

I think it’s the bond I have with everyone on set. That is irreplaceable. It truly is like one big happy family.

What is the biggest takeaway from your role and show?

My biggest takeaway is that every character is a mix of good and bad and I am proud of my character Rhea or the fact that she admitted to all her wrongdoings. There was a genuine transformation. Owning up to your mistakes is huge and I am glad my character could do that. From the show, I feel it’s important to have positive vibes on set which has a huge hand in the success of the show. If you ever come on set you will see that the light team, the actors, the hair team, the costume, and the direction are all in sync with each other. It’s like one big joint family.

What are your expectations at this phase of the show?

I come with zero expectations from anyone but myself. The only expectation I have from myself is to continue working sincerely and never be too comfortable with my character so I always push myself to do better.

How does it feel to be reunited with Prachi and Ranbir on and off screen?

Yes, we did keep in touch when I was on a break. But now it feels wonderful to be having those conversations face to face mixed with a lot of fun and banter. I miss my Buji though

Will Rhea turn negative again in the show?

So far there is a genuine transformation. But like they say the only thing permanent is change.

Any final message…

I just want to thank all for watching Kumkum Bhagya. I would also like to thank them for all their love for Rhea 2.0.
