Zee TV’s Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan continues to captivate audiences with its rich narrative and compelling character dynamics. Central to the show’s escalating drama is Tejpratap, played by actor Arjun Verma, who portrays the multi-layered nephew of Durgavati (Indira Krishna). As the story progresses into high-stakes drama, Arjun opens up about what makes playing Tejpratap so fulfilling. He offers a glimpse into what viewers can expect following his character’s recent arrest.

Tejpratap is a character with varying interpersonal relationships with different characters: Indu, Durgavatai, Ganga Sneha, Sidhu, Purvi, etc. Reflecting on his journey with the show, Arjun Verma shares that Tejpratap’s dynamic nature drew him to the role. “For me, Tejpratap is one of those characters who has an impact on everyone’s journey, and that’s what makes playing him so exciting. Every relationship brings out a different shade of his personality, so as an actor, I get to explore a lot of emotions and layers. It’s challenging, but that’s exactly what makes the role so rewarding.”

To ensure each scene feels natural and distinct, Arjun focuses on adapting his performance based on who Tejpratap is interacting with on screen. “For me, it’s all about staying honest to the moment. Tejpratap may be the same person, but the way he deals with each character is different, so I naturally change my expressions, body language, and energy depending on who he’s facing. I try to keep his core personality intact while making every interaction feel fresh and believable.”

With recent plot developments creating shockwaves in the storyline, Arjun hints that the drama is only getting started and promises high-voltage entertainment in the upcoming episodes. “I’d just say the audience should be ready for some major twists because Tejpratap’s story is far from over. His arrest changes the game, but it also opens the door to bigger conflicts, unexpected moves, and plenty of surprises. The upcoming episodes are going to be intense, so definitely stay tuned.”
