Actress Reena Pimpale who is popularly known as Anjana Baudi in Star Plus‘ popular show Jhanak, has had a fabulous journey. Now that the cast of the show is all set to exit after their successful stint, it is a mix of heavy feelings filled with gratitude for the actors. Reena recollects her journey and talks at length.

Says Reena, “I am blessed to have had this journey named Jhanak in my career profile. I never knew Anjana would be able to make such good ground in the show. When she started, Anjana, as a character, was silent, taking in all the harsh realities but not speaking up much. But the graph of the character showed a remarkable turnaround later. Anjana took a stand for her daughter, for Ani and also for Jhanak. The motherly instinct in Anjana shone through, which made the character so endearing.”

Talking about her character playing an impactful presence in Aniruddh and Jhanak’s love story, Reena says, “Anjana was the first person in the house to tell Jhanak that she loves Aniruddh. Above all, what makes me immensely satisfied is that all on the set call me Anjana Boudi. This is an achievement for me, where my original personality got hidden behind the role I played. This is what an actor works for!”

Talking about the team as such being the pillars behind Jhanak’s success, she says, “We have been blessed to have the best of actors, great creative team, direction team and producers. As artists, every one of us will cherish this family bond we had during the show. Magic Moments Motion Pictures created magic in the personal space for all of us as a family.”

Ask her about how it will be on the last day of the shoot, and she states, “Well, we have had a great journey. We never imagined that it would end this way. But there is always an end and a new beginning, too. We wish to go on a picnic together before we wind up. As actors, our wish is to be in touch even after we wrap up the shoot.”

Reena is all ready to accept new challenges as an actor. “I want to play varied roles and present different shades as a performer. I certainly want to get back in a strong character.”

Best of luck!!
