The talented actress Karuna Pandey, who is known for her work in projects like The Bypass, Sirf Main Aur Tum, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and Devanshi, is all set to entertain fans with a new character in Sony Sab’s upcoming show Pushpa Impossible. In the show, she will be seen playing the role of Pushpa Patel, a feisty, fun-loving, strong-willed, and self-made woman who sets out on an unconventional path to achieve a life of respect and dignity.
Talking about her new role, she shared, “When I heard the brief about Pushpa’s character, I just fell in love with the character and the storyline. I felt that I could relate to Pushpa. The dialogues of the show have already grabbed attention. The writers are amazing, they have incorporated fabulous dialogues and screenplays. Hence, I would like to give the credit to the writers.”
Karuna feels she has striking similarities with her character Pushpa. She mentioned, “I find a certain resemblance to the character of Pushpa, we are both upfront and candid personalities. While being mindful of people’s feelings I speak my mind. We both stem from very different upbringings but our straightforward attitude and optimism are similar to each other.”
When asked about Pushpa being compared to the popular show Anupamaa, she quipped, “It could be seen like that but it is not at all related. My character Pushpa and Anupamaa have a similar kind of look because we wear a typical type of saree. However, there is no similarity between the two shows. Our show’s concept is very different and the characters are also diverse.”
On an end note, she added, “I would urge viewers to watch Pushpa Impossible. It’s new and interesting work that I have never done before. It’s a very interesting show. You will enjoy it. I promise you it will be worth your time.”
