Actor Shresth Kumar returns to the TV space after a hiatus with Star Plus’s popular show Jhanak. Produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, the show opened up the story of Ishani (Megha Chakraborty) and her family. Ishani is a well-educated, confident girl who aims to have a bright career ahead.
The show has seen the entry of Shresth, who plays the role of Jeet, an educated ruffian in the village. Jeet will be an eve-teaser, creating a tense ambience for every girl in the premises.
Shresth’s character will have a tussle with Ishani, leading to huge turnarounds in the story.
Says Shresth, “I have played negative roles before, but this one in Jhanak is that of a village-bred ruffian, adding new layers to the character. I am happy to be part of Jhanak. This is a negative role with a difference.”
The show ahead will see Jeet creating more trouble for Ishani, with him being at loggerheads with her all the time. The varying dynamics between Jeet and Ishani will add a new layer of intrigue and drama to the story.
As for Shresth, he has portrayed challenging roles in his career in shows Suryaputra Karn, Udaan, Kaal Bhairav Rahasya 2, Paramavatar Shri Krishna etc.
