Actress Jaswir Kaur, who is appearing in the Star Plus show Anupamaa, issues a clarification on her recent remark about being forced to exit the show CID, and claims that in the past, black magic was done on her.
Recently, during a podcast with Subhojit Ghosh, the actress Jaswir recalled the difficult phase of her career, highlighting that it changed her life. The actress was part of the popular show CID between 2010 and 2012, while the reason behind her exit from the show wasn’t revealed, and recently she opened up on her exit, claiming her exit from the show happened after black magic was done on her. And soon after the black magic incident, she was called by the makers and was informed that she was no longer a part of the show.
Not just that, Jaswir recalled that she was told that her attitude is not right, she walks badly, and was accused of foul language. While she was confused, this made her cry for 45 days as discussions were going on, and despite her request, the decision was the same, so she walked away after her mother also started crying, seeing her cry.
She also claimed that nobody from the cast stood up for her or even checked on her while she didn’t have work for nearly seven years, and she survived on cameo roles and income tax returns.
In a conversation with Times Now, issuing a clarification, Jaswir said, “Yes, I recently did a podcast, and it has come out in a very negative way, according to how people have understood it. That’s what I feel. If you watch the entire podcast, the topic actually came up very normally. I was asked a question: ‘Was there ever a time in your life when you faced a financial crisis?’ At that time, something happened to me – my hair was cut and buried in the ground, and my work was stopped. It could have been for any reason…So the topic was about black magic being done.”
Jaswir clarified that she didn’t accuse anyone from the show but narrated the incident that happened with her, and she wasn’t forced to opt out.
She said, “No one is forced. If someone has to remove a person, they simply do it. I have never spoken badly about anyone to date. What happened to me at that time – it was black magic. It could have been anything. When I was asked why nobody took a stand for me, I just nodded my head. I didn’t complain about anyone. It’s not about CID; it’s about me and my journey.”
