The ratings for the first week of 2026 are released today. The year looks promising, with many shows performing well on the ratings chart. The BARC India Ratings released today, 19 January 2026, look like this!! Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus) ended the year 2025 well as the top-rated show, and has done well in strengthening its position as the New Year starts, with a TVR of 2.3. Naagin 7 (Colors), which opened extremely well last week, holds on to its good work and gets a TVR of 2.1, and shares the spot with Anupamaa (Star Plus), which also gets a TVR of 2.1. Udne Ki Aasha (Star Plus) has been consistent with its one-hour slots, rating 1.9 and 1.7, respectively. Tumm Se Tumm Tak (Zee TV) continues its surge and remains consistent with a TVR of 1.9. Zee TV’s Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan joins Tumm Se Tumm Tak as the No. 1 show on the channel with a TVR of 1.9, along with Colors TV’s reality show Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment S3, which continues to do well.

Zee TV’s Vasudha is the next with a TVR of 1.8. Sony SAB’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah also gets a TVR of 1.8. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) sees a drop and gets a TVR of 1.7. Colors TV’s Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki is surging ahead, and well and truly becomes the No 1 daily fiction show on the channel with a TVR of 1.6.

Zee TV’s Jagadhatri continues to march ahead with a TVR of 1.5. Colors TV’s Tu Juliet Jatt Di also sees a rise in ratings and takes home a TVR of 1.4. Colors TV’s Mangal Lakshmi also sees a rise and gets a TVR of 1.4. Star Plus’ Aarti Anjali Awasthi remains consistent with a TVR of 1.4. Colors TV’s Mahadev & Sons starts well with a TVR of 1.4.

Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar (Colors TV) also sees a rise and takes home a TVR of 1.3. Zee TV’s Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile moves up with a TVR of 1.3. Star Plus’ Jhanak gets a TVR of 1.2. Colors TV’s Seher Hone Ko Hai marches ahead this week and gets a TVR of 1.2. Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol gets a TVR of 1.1. Zee TV’s Saru is placed at a TVR of 1.0, and the same with Star Plus’ Shehzaadi Hai Tu Dil Ki.

Overall, this is a good week with many positives. While Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi shows its supremacy, Naagin 7 continues its good run in its second week too. Tumm Se Tumm Tak looks promising to break into the elite 2 TRP zone soon. Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, Vasudha, and Jagadhatri continue their good run. Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki has got a spring in leap and is doing extremely well for the channel. Tu Juliet Jatt Di promises big. Mangal Lakshmi and Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar also jump up in ratings, while Seher Hone Ko Hai climbs up too.
