On the occasion of Janmashtami, looks like we may have another reason to celebrate one of the most loved Gods – Lord Krishna. And that reason has everything to do with ace storyteller Siddharth Kumar Tewary and his production house Swastik Productions.

If rumors are to be believed, it seems like a young toddler dressed us as baby Krishna was spotted on the sets of Swastik’s super popular show RadhaKrishnn in Umergaon. Not just that, it is believed that there is an entirely new, larger than life set is being created at Swastik Bhoomi in Umergaon to bring to life the Mathura jail cell where Krishna was born and of course the gorgeous environs of Gokul. Sources claim that it’s going to be a set that will not only rekindle that deeply entrenched emotion associated with Baal Krishna and his birth but also change the paradigm in which it’s going to be viewed on air. Passersby at Swastik Bhoomi can’t help but admire the splendor associated with these sets.

For fans and followers of RadhaKrishn, it’s well-known fact that the show is a showcase of the journey that Radha (played by Mallika Singh) and Krishna (played by Sumedh Mudgalkar) over centuries proving why theirs was a story for the ages. Given that it’s focussed largely on Krishna’s older years, seeing this new development on the sets has left us wondering.

Does this mean that there could be a new show on the anvil for Swastik Productions celebrating Krishna’s early years which will be starting soon or is this some sort of a change of gears for Radhakrishn? While none of the stakeholders commented on any developments mentioned, maybe we will just have to wait and watch to know what this is all about.
