Naagin 7, starring Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Namik Paul in the main roles, has been winning hearts and creating buzz since its release. While there were reports that the show would end soon, they proved true when producer Ekta Kapoor herself confirmed on Instagram.
On April 26, Ekta shared a couple of stories on her Instagram, revealing she is here again, like always, but this time with Naagin updates. The producer said that the show was supposed to end in April, but it will now end on her birthday, i.e., on June 7, 2026. And also revealed that none of the Naagin seasons were supposed to be like this, but it was supposed to be just 30 episodes, but she has extended it to 48 episodes now. In addition, she also dropped a major update on Naagin season 8, sharing that she will be back next year.
Breaking down the pattern, Ekta shared that to bring Naagin every year, they will have to do a shorter season so she can focus on other things. She emphasized that this season has already been extended from 30 episodes to 48, and that it will be almost 6 months since the show went on air. To be back next year, they need a break.
Ekta’s exclusive confession surprised fans, while many wish to see more of Priyanka and Namik’s chemistry, but the show is set to end in June.
