Television lovers are in for an exciting treat as Colors TV has given new life, yet again, to one of its most anticipated projects! We hear that the channel and Boyhood Productions are gearing up to kick-start work on their ambitious show, Mukkebaaz, all over again. For the uninitiated, Mukkebaaz is centred around the gritty, resilient world of boxing, ambition, and personal redemption. It weaves a compelling tale of struggle, grit, and triumph against all odds, exploring the intense emotional and professional hurdles as the female lead aspires to become a boxer.
When the project was first being worked out, actors Fahmaan Khan and Jahnvi Soni were locked in to play the lead roles. However, the show was soon shelved. Fahmaan Khan is now all set to headline Zee TV’s Shubh Shagun Shehnaaiyan, while Jahnvi Soni has stepped into Star Plus’ Sayoneee.
With the project back on track, we hear exclusively that the makers are in talks with a fresh power-packed pairing to headline the show! According to our sources, popular television faces Vijayendra Kumeria and Sumbul Touqeer Khan are currently in talks to headline Mukkebaaz. Vijayendra was last seen capturing hearts on Colors’ Juhi Mui, while Sumbul was last seen winning accolades in Itti Si Khushi.
We buzzed the actors, but did not get through to them.
We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get a response till we filed the story.
