Ekta Sharma, who was last seen in Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar, has bagged a meaty role in Colors TV‘s Noyontara, produced by Peninsula Pictures. As we know, Noyontara is taking a generation leap after which Shruti Bhist will play the new lead, that is, the daughter of Surjo and Noyontara. Sshubham Dipta, the lead of Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar, has entered the show as the new lead.

While Shruti will be the daughter of Noyontara, Sakshi will play the evil daughter of Shaoli.
We hear that Rinku Ghosh will play the mother of the male lead. We now hear that Ekta Sharma will play the sister to Rinku Ghosh’s character.
A little birdie told us, “Ekta will have a grey shaded character, will be gossipy yet comic, and will stay with her sister.”
We buzzed Ekta but did not get through to her.
