Seher Hone Ko Hai, the Colors TV show produced by Richa Yamini’s Icecream Dreams and Aarambh Entertainment, has been in search of an apt replacement for the lead role of Seher, which is presently being played by Rishita Kothari.
The show has undergone significant changes recently, particularly with the departures of Mahhi Vij and Rishita Kothari, who portrayed the lead role of Seher. Additionally, the storyline is set to take a brief leap forward in time, introducing fresh dynamics that will reshape the narrative.
The search for Seher has been a prolonged process, with the likes of Shivangi Joshi, Ashi Singh, Mallika Singh, Bhavika Sharma, Himanshi Parashar, Yesha Rughani and many others being tested.
Himanshi Sharma was in the process of being finalised for the role, but it did not happen. Now, it looks like the search is heading into a new direction with many other actors being considered.
We at IWMBuzz.com hear that it is Riya Sharma, who is fresh from her successful portrayal as Jhanak in the Star Plus show, who is in talks presently. She has earlier been in the spotlight for her performance on the channel in Pinjara Khubsurti Ka.
A little birdie tells us, “Of all the actors who are presently in talks for the role, Riya Sharma holds the brightest chance.”
Well, only time will tell whether this extensive search will lead to a profitable run for the show, with the team getting an apt replacement. While the search is seriously on, the show finds itself in a tough phase as it needs to up its ratings in a big way, rather quickly, to remain safe.
