Senior actor Pawan Mahendru who has featured in TV shows Uttaran, Shubh Laabh Aapkey Ghar Mein, Shravani, etc, will join the cast of Star Plus’ upcoming show Sairaab produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures.
The show has Rohit Chandel and Madirakshi Mundle playing the leads. It will be a love story exploring an intense, layered romance between two individuals from entirely different worlds. Rohit Chandel will play the role of a singer by the name Ishaan, while Madirakshi Mundle, the female lead, will be a doctor.
We at IWMBuzz.com have been at the helm, writing about the cast on board the show. We were the first to report that Rohit Chandel would play the lead. Later, we wrote about actors Patrali Chattopadhyay, Shantanu Monga, Ruchi Savarn, Sachin Verma, Neha Kaul, Kishori Shahane and Vijay Laxmi Singh, who play vital roles in the show.
We now hear that Pawan Mahendru will play father figure of the male lead, Ishaan played by Rohit Chandel.
A little birdie tells us, “Pawan Mahendru’s character would have raised Ishaan. Ishaan will be shown having no family apart from this person who has taken care of him.”
We buzzed Pawan but did not get through to him.
We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get a response till we filed it.
