Priya Thakur, the leading actress of the Zee TV show Vasudha, produced by Arvind Babbal Productions, has become a household name. Bagging the big opportunity with the show, the actress, with her performance and consistency, has become one of the favorites in the TV industry. The show started in September 2024, and now, almost 1.5 years later, the show has secured the top spot in the TRP chart, marking a big milestone.
In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, when asked about Priya’s reaction to her show Vasudha ranking at the top for the four consecutive weeks now, i.e., a month, and how excited she is now. Priya said, “I’m very excited now; I mean, the excitement is so much that I’m unable to digest that we are literally number one because for a long time we have been thinking.”
Priya further added, “We started our ranking at number 23, and today to rank at number one, it took almost 1.5 years approximately, and it is a very big deal for us.”
Sharing what she feels as an artist when the hard work pays off, Priya emphasized that she spends around 12 to 14 hours on the sets, and she had the idea that all the efforts the Vasudha team is putting in will be worth it. She also pointed out that it isn’t easy work, as it takes a lot of hard work. Priya also stated that all the hard work and dedication she has put in has been worth it.
