Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha, the celebrated pair on television who are iconic for their pairing in Zee TV and Balaji Telefilms’ Kumkum Bhagya, might soon pair up again for a new show. The buzz is that they have shot a pilot episode for Studio LSD’s new show on Colors TV.
Yes, Prateek Sharma’s Studio LSD has the successful show Tumm Se Tumm Tak on air on Zee TV, which is a romantic tale about a middle-aged man and a young girl. Actors Sharad Kelkar and Niharika Chouksey play the leads.
Getting back to Shabir and Sriti, their onscreen chemistry in Kumkum Bhagya as Abhi and Pragya was a phenomenon, which held the loyal fans of the show glued to the show for seven years.
A little birdie tells us, “Shabir and Sriti have shot for a pilot, and the makers are waiting for its outcome. If the script gets commissioned, the loyal fans of Shabir and Sriti will have a reason to celebrate.”
We buzzed the actors but did not get through to them.
We reached out to the Producer and channel spokesperson, but did not get a response till we filed the story.
