Colors TV recently brought a new show, Do Duniya Ek Dil, produced by SOL Productions, with a new concept that explores the clash between the digital world and reality. In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, the lead pair of the show, Vikram Singh Chauhan and Rachi Sharma, shared their first reaction when they were offered the roles of Aadhya and Shivaay.
In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, when asked Vikram and Rachi about being offered this show, their reaction, and if it was always a yes from their side.
Rachi said, “I don’t think so. I gave no second thought. The process that a show had was there, but when I got to know the story, I was very happy. I was very positive that the concept is very good and the character is very good, so I just said yes.”
On the other hand, Vikram said, “Creatively, I was extremely happy, and for me it was a yes, yes when I heard the story. After that, whatever formalities happened, and slowly I became a part of the show.”
Talking about his character and if it is different from his previous roles, Vikram said, “Absolutely, it is different, it is different from other characters, that is why I’m doing also and preparation if I say so I couldn’t do much preparations as I said I joined the show very late so as the script is coming I’m preparing.”
Rachi, on playing Aadhya, said, “It’s not tough, but yes, sometimes it happens when personally I’m not well, but if I’m playing Aadhya, I have to put extra energy, so that is fine, and it goes with the work.” She also added that her character is fun and she is enjoying it, while there are layers in her character, but until now, she has only looked happy.
