As per a report in ETimes, a popular TV actor Shailesh Lodha, who plays the role of Taarak, is quitting the show. A source close to the show has informed the portal that the actor has not been shooting for the TMKOC for the past month. Also, the source added that he is unable to explore other opportunities due to the exclusivity factor. As per the reports, the production house is trying its best to convince him but it seems like the actor has taken his decision and is not in a mood to change it.

This is not the first time that an actor in a popular sitcom has quit the show. In the past, Gurucharan Singh aka Roshan Sodhi, Dayaben aka Disha Vakani, Jheel Mehta and Nidhi Bhanushali aka Sonu, Anjali bhabhi aka Neha Mehta, Tappu aka Bhavya Gandhi and Bawri aka Monika Bhadoriya, bid adieu to the show.

Despite the exit of such popular actors from the show, Asit Modi and his team were able to increase the ratings of the show. The daily never fails to entertain with an interesting plot that has hilarious twists and turns which make the show among the most-watched. This show has got some extraordinary things which took it to cloud 9. If we talk of the TRP chart, then you will always find this show in the top 5 and this isn’t even a surprise.
