Actress Surbhi Jyoti needs no introduction! Known for her appearances in Qubool Hai and Naagin 3, the diva is currently soaking in the festive vibes. Tej TV diva celebrated the auspicious occasion of Kanjak on Ashtami at home while embracing every moment of her beautiful pregnancy journey.
The mom-to-be, Surbhi, on Thursday, March 26, shared a bunch of photos from the Kanjak ritual on Ashtami. Shared these pictures with the caption, “Kanjak. Shubh Ashtami”. However, the actress delighted fans with her serene and radiant look in an elegant white cotton Anarkali. The bright color, comfortable fabric, and soothing fit perfectly complemented her glowing aura.
The sleeveless anarkali featured a V-neckline, while the chikankari handwork gave it a beautiful touch, blending modern charm with vintage elegance. The flowy fit beautifully embraced her baby bump, and we love her simplicity. Keeping her look minimal yet graceful, Surbhi opted for soft makeup, leaving her hair open, while the oxidised choker necklace, earrings, and bangles complemented her appearance. With rosy cheeks and pink lips, she maintained that simple yet graceful feel.
However, the intimate celebration was all about traditions, positivity, and gratitude as Surbhi welcomed young girls for the ritual. She served chana, halwa, puri, and pieces of coconut and performed the rituals herself.
Surbhi announced her pregnancy news with husband Sumit Suri on February 11, 2026, and their baby is due in June 2026.

It is a ritual performed during Navratri, specifically on Ashtami or Navami (the 8th or 9th day of Navratri). During this puja, young girls are invited as living manifestations of Goddess Durga. On this day, people worship the feminine power (Shakti), purity, and innocence, involving washing young girls’ feet, applying a tilak, and offering special food and gifts.
