Veteran actress Anita Kanwal, who has appeared in shows and films like Sasural Genda Phool, Sonpari, Chanakya, Geetanjali, Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, and others, has made shocking claims in her latest social media post. The actress has raised food safety concerns, claiming that she found cat poop inside a Haldiram packet.
On July 23, Anita shared a video claiming that she found cat poop inside the packet of Haldiram Soya Sticks, saying, “Namaskar friends, today a very weird and lousy incident happened with me. I was eating this Haldiram’s Soya Sticks, and when I once put my hand inside the packet, I found this. This is definitely cat’s shit which I have found inside the packet.”
She further asked the IAS officer Tukaram Mundhe who directly handles food safety as the Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Maharashtra to look into the matter investigate and take necessary action: “Honorable Tukaram Mundhe, I have heard that you are giving a lot of attention to these things I request you to you investigate this matter, you DM me and wherever you will say I will send the packet to you, this should be investigated and a strict action should be taken against Haldiram.”
Concluding her statement, Anita said, “See, we give these things to even our kids, and if any kid would have consumed this by mistake, he/she would have died too. So please, this is my request to all: please don’t eat anything from Haldiram, because this big carelessness is not tolerable. Thank you, Jai Hind.”
And in the caption she wrote, “Look what I found in a Haldiram packet. It must be cat shit. Totally disgusted. Whom do we trust? This is a big brand. @haldirams.official u have to answer this. I request honourable Shri @tukaram_ias to look into this matter, as he is known to take strict action against food continuation. What if a child has eaten it? Hate to even think. Amid Anita’s big claims, Haldiram’s official response to the accusation is currently awaited.
