Anupamaa, the Star Plus television show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut saw over the last week, a big drama with the Shah girls Mahi, Pari and Ishani planning to attend a Diwali party. Though their decision was met with objection from Leela, Anupamaa convinced Baa to let them go. Prem joined the girls in their party. He secretly took them to a pub without telling Anupamaa about it. The Shahs soon got to know the truth. Anupamaa got angry at Prem for lying and taking the girls to a pub. Prem realized his mistakes and sought forgiveness from Anupamaa. Anupamaa asked the elders of the Shah family to forget about their past wounds for the sake of the children. Ansh argued with Prem when he saw him interacting with Rahi.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Star Plus television show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut saw over the last week, an engrossing drama with Vidya refusing to knead a sweater for Abhira’s child while agreeing to do it for Ruhi’s child. However, Vidya harboured a secret desire to make a sweater for Abhira’s child too, which irked Ruhi. Ruhi exhibited a high degree of resentment towards Abhira’s child which made things unpleasant between them. The Poddar family readied for the baby shower of both Ruhi and Abhira. Vidya and Dadisa went to the family priest who warned them about not two, but only one kid surviving the delivery. This intensified their worry and they took special care for the baby shower function to happen smoothly. Ruhi got upset during the baby shower when people talked about the gender of both kids. Ruhi left alone to meet the priest to learn about her kid’s gender. She met with an accident which got her into labour. The Poddars got to know about her accident. Rohit rushed her to the hospital. Abhira and Armaan grew concerned over Ruhi and the baby’s wellbeing. There was tension with Ruhi needing the injection to keep her safe during the surgery. However, since there was a lack of stock, Abhira volunteered to give her injection to Ruhi as she had time to get into labour. Rohit was grateful to Abhira for taking this big a decision. However, soon after, Abhira went into labour, and this meant that she too required the same injection. Armaan begged a couple to help them out with the injection as his wife was in danger. Ultimately Armaan managed to get the injection. But both Armaan and Rohit were briefed that the doctors could save only either of them and asked them to choose who they should save. It was a tough time for both Rohit and Armaan. Armaan chose Abhira. However, Ruhi delivered a baby boy while Abhira’s kid died even before the surgery. Armaan had an emotional breakdown, and Rohit handled him. Dadisa got to know that only one kid could survive.
Kundali Bhagya, the Zee TV television show produced by Balaji Telefilms saw over the last week, a big drama with Karan deciding to fast for Karwa Chauth to pray for Preeta’s recovery. However, Nidhi could not tolerate Karan’s closeness with Preeta and decided to ruin his fast. While both Rajveer and Karan fasted, Shaurya did not fast for Shanaya. This upset Shanaya a lot. Shaurya came home in a drunken state on Karwa Chauth. Karan got angry at him and slapped him. Shaurya grew revengeful at his dad. While the women of the Luthra house did their puja at home, Karan did the puja in the hospital, in front of Preeta. Preeta soon regained consciousness and this made Karan happy. Preeta soon got discharged and Karan got her home. All were happy to see Preeta being happy. Karan took care of Preeta while Nidhi wanted to kill Preeta. She entered Preeta’s room and strangulated her with the intent of killing her.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the Sony SAB television show produced by Neela Film Production saw over the last week, a major drama with the Gokuldham Society residents planning to celebrate Diwali with great fanfare. Jethalal received a request from Ramnik Bhai who could not repay the money that he had taken from Jetha. Instead of the money, Ramnik bhai gave Jetha a firecracker called Allrounder, which had the attribute of 500 crackers. Jetha readily agreed to the deal but found objection to the Gokuldham residents refusing to take a risk with the cracker and a few wanting a noiseless Diwali. Finally, Jetha was challenged to give them 1 lakh if the cracker failed to perform. On Diwali day, everyone was joyous to burn the all-rounder cracker. However, they were shocked to see no wick in the cracker. Ultimately, after an eventful Diwali, Jetha was too lazy to work. Bapuji urged him to do a Yoga asana, which Jetha struggled to do. Iyer made fun of Jetha’s inability to perform the asana.
Mangal Lakshmi, the Colors television show produced by Panorama Entertainment saw over the last week, a major drama with Mangal being worried about the financial crunch that her family was facing. She got a call from her children’s school to pay their school bills on time. Mangal decided that she would earn money. She got a job offer at a sweet mart, that of a chef. She accepted it. Saumya was determined to expose Mangal and throw her out of the house. Saumya followed Mangal for her work. Mangal was given the tough task of lifting the flour bag and grinding the flour and making Halwa. Mangal was ridiculed as she could not exert physical force to lift the bag. However, Mangal managed to handle the work and got her first money. Saumya called Kusum to show her Mangal’s work, but the opportunity failed. Kartik struggled with the contract he had signed as Jia was the model in it. Jia tried to get close to him, and he threatened to walk out of the project. Jia got angry as Kartik expressed his happiness with Lakshmi. Lipika’s engagement was fixed. Saumya manipulated the situation in such a way that Mangal accepted the proposal of cooking at the event, without realizing it to be the function of her sister. Mangal was shocked to see that she was about to cook at her own sister’s engagement. During cooking, Mangal found the paneer cubes to be fake and threw them in the dustbin. However, they were taken out and were used for the dish. The food inspector arrived to taste the food made, and soon Mangal was in trouble. Mangal tried to justify that she had thrown the bad paneer, but she was about to get arrested. A video shot for fun by Akshat saved her.
Jhanak, the Star Plus television show produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures saw over the last week, a major drama with Brijbhushan and Jhanak meeting Srishti at her house. They threatened to expose Srishti. Brijbhushan sought the help of a lawyer to get him justice for his identity being snatched and also for Jhanak being his and Srishti’s daughter. Upon knowing Brijbhushan’s hardships, the lawyer agreed to fight the case without charging anything. Jhanak and Arshi trained hard for the upcoming competition. Jhanak was trained by Brijbhushan while Srishti put enormous pressure on Arshi to beat Nutan. Srishti threatened to expose Kulbhushan. At the dance event, Aniruddh was drawn towards Nutan’s dance. Jhanak exposed Kulbhushan and told all about him faking his identity as Brijbhushan.
