Anupamaa, the Star Plus television show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut, saw major drama over the last week with Raahi being confident about her intuition about Rajni and deciding to dig deep into it. Prarthana’s baby shower preparations were on, and the Shah family was invited. Anupamaa returned home, and Rajni took this as an opportunity to demolish the colony. Prem and Raahi were relieved about Divakar gone from their life, when they got a shock at Pakhi coming home with Divakar. She introduced Divakar in front of Anupamaa and the family, and announced that she wanted to marry him. Anupamaa, Raahi and Prem were shocked. All three of them tried to put some sense into Pakhi, but could not. Pakhi got into a war of words with everyone. The baby shower of Ansh and Prarthana happened. Moti Baa laughed at the fact that Anupamaa’s grown-up daughter wanted to marry and ridiculed Anupamaa’s upbringing.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Star Plus television show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut, saw major drama over the last week, with Armaan providing an effective plea in court to save Meher. His powerful appeal saved Meher, and she was freed. Armaan was happy with his achievement, and he credited Abhira’s confidence for his success. As the family got back the power in the house, Armaan and Abhira spent time together. However, Abhira suspected something was wrong as she saw Anita at the party. Later, when she went to Anita’s home, Anita told Abhira that Armaan got her innocent husband convicted for a crime he did not commit. She drank poison and, as her dying words, told Abhira that her husband was innocent and that Meher had killed. Abhira was shaken to see Anita breathing her last and justifying that nobody would lie before dying. She also pleaded with Abhira to take care of her daughter, Vani. Abhira was shattered and weighed down by Armaan’s act. She mustered the courage to take Vani home. Abhira told Vidya the truth, but Vidya asked Abhira not to tell Armaan about it. Abhira planned Maira’s birthday and wanted to make it special by doing all the simple things right.
Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, the Zee TV show produced by Rose Audio Visuals, saw major drama over the last week with Dhruv and Kirti’s wedding date getting fixed. Kirti did not want the wedding to happen. She created havoc by cutting off the parapet wall on which Dhruv stood to express his love for her. Dhruv had a fall and was admitted to the hospital with severe injuries. Raghav suspected Kirti’s hand in it. However, Reet supported Kirti. Kirti created a situation where Reet saw Raghav hugging Kirti. She also showed her the pictures of them together, which shocked Reet. Reet decided to walk out of the house. Raghav pleaded with her, but Reet was shattered by Raghav’s deceit in love. Reet was kidnapped by Viren as soon as she left the house. Raghav got a ransom call and was determined to save Reet at any cost. Viren had a tussle with Reet in which he injected Reet with sedation medicine, way too many times, which led to her deteriorating health.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the Sony SAB television show produced by Neela Film Production, saw major drama over the last week with the Gokuldham Society residents continuing to pay their tributes to the thespian actor Dharmendra. They performed dance numbers from his films, staged his dialogue in the acts, and even had a quiz related to him and his career. Tapu and Sonu stole the spotlight with their performance. Taarak’s words about the actor provided goosebumps. Veer and Basuri wrote a cryptic thought for the day and asked all to decode it. On the first day of the New Year, Jethalal received a shock when he saw Bagha and Nattu Khakha asleep in a drunken state outside the shop.
Mangal Lakshmi, the Colors TV show produced by Panorama Entertainment, saw major drama over the last week with Adit running to the hospital to take care of Saumya. Later, he deployed a nurse to take care of her after discharge and moved out. Saumya got angry. She filed a domestic violence case against Kusum and got her arrested. Saumya forced Adit to come back home so that Kusum could be saved. Adit followed Shanti’s plan and tried to get to the papers, by being at home. Mangal broke into the house in disguise, at night, to steal the papers. However, Adit caught her. Mangal got back to Pehla Swad and started its functioning with a puja. However, Saumya managed to place a bomb inside the coconut. There was a bomb blast at the event, injuring many. Mangal was deeply hurt by the number of losses.
Jhanak, the Star Plus television show produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, saw major drama over the last week with Rishi asking Aditi to end their relationship and move on in life. Rishi told Jhanak that she could come to live with him after settling all the court conflicts. When Putul asked Jhanak to accept Rishi, Jhanak found herself breaking a house and was worried. Aniruddha spiked Jhanak’s drink, but Aditi ended up drinking the same. Jhanak was blamed for spiking Aditi’s drink. Rishi did not believe Jhanak’s innocence in the matter. When the police arrived, Jhanak was pained by the disbelief of all, and took the blame on herself even when she was innocent. Rishi was determined to punish her if she was proven to be the culprit. Aniruddha was worried as the police dug deeper to find proof. Finally, the probe of the police proved Jhanak to be innocent, and blamed Aniruddha for it. Jhanak requested a DNA test.
