Being a Sikhani, I have a huge connect with Choti Sarrdaarni: Mala Salariya

Mala Salariya the talented actress has been doing varied roles in TV and web circuits.

Her recent work for ZEE5’s Skyfire where she was cast opposite Prateik Babbar was very much appreciated. On TV, Mala was seen in the fantasy and supernatural shows Qayamat Ki Raat and Naagin 3.

After playing her highly fantasy-based characters, Mala is now donning a very realistic avatar of a doctor in Colors’ popular show Choti Sarrdaarni.

In the show produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment, Mala plays the role of Dr Sanjana the acclaimed hepatologist, who will treat Param’s illness related to the liver.

As we know, the ongoing emotional track in the show has Sarabjit  (Avinesh Rekhi) struggling to find a donor for his son’s liver transplant. And Dr Sanjana has been helping him by going out of the way to look for donors.

Says Mala, “This is my first role as a doctor and I am very excited as I play it. Dr Sanjana will have a big role to play in nurturing Param to good health. It will be interesting to see if she succeeds or not.”

“I am ecstatic to be a part of the show. I am a Choti Sardaarni myself and being a Sikhani, I feel a huge connect with the show. I am having the best of time shooting for it, and the team is fabulous,” says Mala.

Mala, wish you all the best for the show!!
