Actor Sorab Bedi, who has worked with Sanchita Ugale in their show Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi on Dangal TV, has been receiving backlash and getting trolled over his reaction when pap asked him about her demise. Amidst the backlash, now Sorab has broken his silence, clarifying his side and keeping things straight with sharp advice to those questioning him to think before they speak.
Sorab, on his Instagram, shared a video of himself addressing the matter and shared how, when he was being questioned, a lot of paps were around him; he didn’t hear some questions but answered those who were near him. Further, he mentions that he answered that Sanchita was calling him, but he was in Siliguri, and he had communicated to her. He revealed she was stressed, but he isn’t a fool nor an inhuman person. But sometimes it happens, and he even slammed those targeting him, asking if one knows how good a friend she was or anything. He tried to explain in what situation he was trapped, sharing a glimpse of the group of paps in front of him. And tagged the video saying, “Bhai soch samaj ke bolla karo please.”
He said, “Bhai, vo na mere pass bahot sare paps ayi thi baat kerne, thik hai. To na uske baad na apko har kisi ke question nhi sunte hai, to apko na jo thode pas me hote h aur record kerte ha bas vo toh unme se piche se ek bande ne pucha vo apko call kyu ker rahe the. Aur maine bataya tha Sanchita meko bahot time se call ker rahi thi toh pucha logo ne vo apko kyu call ker rahi thi to kyunki vo pareshan thi to call ker rahi thi, to maine kaha Siliguri me tha tabhi mere baat hui thi. To har chiz ko galat mat liya karo itna bewakoof mai bhi nhi hu aur na hi bedil hu.”
Actress Sanchita Ugale, who has appeared in shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Waghle Ki Duniya, Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi and films like Chhavan, etc passed away on June 14, 2026, allegedly by suicide, and an investigation is underway on the same.
