Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai the popular show produced by Director’s Kut has found its new Gayu.
Actress Simran Khanna who was last seen in Paramavatar Shri Krishna has been roped in to play the role of Gayu, sister to Naira (Shivangi Joshi). As we know, actress Deblina Chaterjee was playing the role of Gayu.
Deblina recently opted out of the show as she did not want to be mother to a five year old.
Simran has been around, having featured in shows Kis Desh Main Hain Meraa Dil, Sanyukt etc apart from Paramavatar Shri Krishna.
Says Simran, “It is a nice feeling to be part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is a big show and I am eager to win hearts as Gayu. Gayu as a character is very nice and positive.”
She will be paired opposite actor Samir Onkar who plays the role of Samarth Goenka.
