Normal life in Mumbai was thrown out of gear following torrential rains on August 29. Water-logging in several parts of the city troubled Mumbaikars. However, it not only hampered normal people but also TV stars.
The cast of popular Star Plus show Chandra Nandni also got stuck due to these rains.
The team of Chandra Nandni (Balaji Telefilms) including lead actor Rajjat Tokas, Shweta Basu Prasad, Siddharth Nigam, Papia Sengupta, Avneet Kaur had to stay at a hotel near their shoot studio to protect themselves in the inclement weather.
Shweta Basu Prasad, who enacts the character of Nandini in the show, posted a few pictures from their hotel room on social media.
Team Chandra Nandini stranded at the hotel close to our studio, hiding away from the rains and flood. We hope everyone is fine and gets home safe! Please stay where ever you are till situation gets better and look after each other.
