Sony Sab show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is India’s most viewed comedy show and has been running successfully for a decade now. The show has continued to entertain people of all age groups and is loved by all.
We might have seen a lot of changes in the storyline of the show in the past ten years. However, the main motive of the show remains the same which is to entertain the viewers and make them laugh.
While viewers love each and every character, there have been many replacements in the show during the last few years.
Jheel Mehta, who played the role of Sonu in the show, had to quit the show. As per reports in media, the actress had opted out of the popular sitcom to focus on her studies. Balancing both studies and shooting for Taarak was becoming taxing for Jheel hence she decided to leave the show.
Nidhi Bhanushali replaced Jheel Mehta as Sonu in 2012 and won hearts with her performance. Later, she also quit. Now, Palak Sindhwani is playing the role of Sonu.
