Jheel Mehta was elegant, beautiful and at the same time, a very simple looking girl. She bagged all popularity for her role of Sonu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Jheel we must say, grew with the show’s success and has had her happy days on the set of this long-running and popular show.
Jheel remained part of the show for many years. She is a very good actor, with her scenes especially with the Tapu Sena coming out well. Her smile, her good looks and her naughtiness in her character were a pleasant watch.
Jheel left Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in the year 2012, and was with a heavy heart that she decided to opt out. However, for her, her academics were getting tighter and she had to concentrate on her studies. Balancing out between studies and acting was getting bit difficult, considering that she was into her higher classes.
Jheel was replaced by Nidhi Bhanushali. Later, Nidhi too left the show with Palak Sindhwani coming in.
We simply miss Jheel Mehta on the show.
