Pavitra Rishta and Pavitra Bandhan were two successful shows created by Balaji Telefilms.
Pavitra Rishta which beamed on Zee TV brought to limelight two stunning actors in Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande. As Manav and Archana, their chemistry was outstanding. Pavitra Rishta depicted the lifestyle and problems of a middle-class Mahrashtrian family and the drama value was high in the show. The show had a really good run and spanned generations in its story plot.
Pavitra Bandhan which aired on Doordarshan was yet another romantic drama series which garnered eyeballs. With Yash Tonk and Hritu Dudani at the helm, the show captured realistically the trials and tribulations of families. The show had a good run and was accepted as one of the favourite shows on air when it was at its peak.
