Zee TV’s popular fiction drama, Qurbaan Hua, has been consistently entertaining its audience with interesting twists and turns in the lives of Neel (Rajveer Singh) and Chahat (Pratibha Ranta). The viewers are currently having a great time watching Neel and Chahat’s budding romance, but with the entry of Meera (Tanya Sharma), major twists are all set to spice up the show. However before that, in the upcoming episodes, Neel who is a chef in the show, will be seen impressing the ladies with his cooking skills.
For the uninitiated, Rajveer has always been fond of cooking and in this period of lockdown he had himself learnt preparing many dishes all by himself. Not just that, Rajveer also made sure that he does not let his mother cook during the lockdown. Cooking and experimenting with new cuisines and dishes had become Rajveer’s hobby and so, it was a piece of cake for him when he was told to show off his culinary skills for the show. In fact, shooting and cooking with Tanya and Pratibha was a great experience for him, according to the Qurbaan Hua lead actor.
Talking about cooking on the set, Rajveer Singh said, “In this period of lockdown, I made sure that my mother doesn’t cook at all and I took the reins at home. I soon realised how I can actually cook very well. So, I kept challenging myself with new recipes every day and they luckily turned out to be delightful. This really helped me while shooting for the upcoming Qurbaan Hua sequence. All I had to do was to act like I am cooking with Meera and Chahat, however I decided to actually cook something to make the scene look more authentic and by end of it, I ended up making some noodles for the three of us. The ladies loved the dish and I have to say that it is very rare when an actor gets to mix their personal interests with their profession, and I had a great time while shooting this sequence.”
While our Neel cooks some amazing dishes on the Qurbaan Hua sets, looks like Meera is going to cook up a storm in the upcoming episodes with Neel finding it difficult to juggle between his commitment to Meera and his feelings for Chahat. Will Chahat be able to get her Neel back?
