Sakshi Chopra, the daughter of Meenakshi Sagar, Ramanand Sagar’s granddaughter, has gone bold in her recent Instagram pictures.
Legendary film and television director Dr. Ramanand Sagar is best known for bringing the epic tale of Ramayan to the screen in the 80s. While the show got him a large chunk of fame, his great-granddaughter Sakshi Chopra garners attention for different reasons.
Sakshi Chopra, a talented singer and songwriter, was born in Mumbai, Maharastra, on September 23, 1997. She attended The True School of Music, India’s first music school, before furthering her education at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in California, USA. Sakshi’s mother, Meenakshi Sagar, is a renowned film producer who produced Mitwaa.
Meenakshi’s father, Moti Sagar, was also a well-known film producer. Sakshi’s stepfather is Mamik Singh, and her great-grandparents are Ramanand Sagar and Leelavati Sagar. Notably, Sakshi’s great-grandfather received the prestigious Padma Shri Award in 2000. Sakshi’s uncle, Akash Chopra, is also an actor.
