One usually gets to see a very cordial side of the celebrities judging reality shows. However, Shilpa Shetty Kundra unleashed a whole new, completely different, and totally unexpected side of herself on Super Dancer! ‘Badle Ki Aag’ is what Anurag Basu called it!
Choreographer Vaibhav Ghuge has been pulling a fast one on Shilpa and scaring her every now and then throughout the current and past seasons of the show. It was about time that Shilpa took ‘Sood Samet Badla’ and give Vaibhav a taste of his own medicine!
Shilpa found a great opportunity during the recent shoot of Super Dancer – Chapter 4. She planned the whole prank in such a manner that it got a Shashtaang Dandawat Pranaam from not just Vaibhav but all the super Gurus who fell for it!
Shilpa said, “For each time that Vaibhav has pranked me and scared me through all the seasons of Super Dancer, I had vowed to get back at him. Since we are shooting for the show in Daman, it gave me a great opportunity to strike back (laughs). I planned my travel to Daman in such a way that I reach one day early. The entire make-up was meticulously thought by my team and I almost got scared looking at myself in the mirror!”
She further added, “I have said this before that the entire crew of Super Dancer is like my extended family. It’s moments like these that I cherish the most.”
It took almost 3 hours for Shilpa to get the make-up done. All she did was wait in the hallway of the hotel and pounced on the unexpected choreographers coming her way. Vaibhav for sure met his match!
Vaibhav said, “Shilpa mam has been an inspiration not just for me but for all of us who have been associated with Super Dancer. Each time that I pranked her and scared her, was nothing compared to the fast one she pulled on us. To come one day early, sit patiently through the whole ordeal of this makeup, and to do this for us, makes us feel very special. I don’t think any celebrity judge has done something like this ever. Did I get scared? Yes! She got me.”
Adding to this, Ranjeet Thakur, Producer, Frames Production Company said, “It’s the first time any judge on a show has gone this far to create content and take revenge of last 4 seasons… And the fact that Shilpa meticulously planned this prank herself and got the intricate makeup done which took more than 3 to 4 hours!! ..this will be one of the most memorable moments in the history of super dancer..watch out for this one!”
