Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah has been delighting us for many years and if you look back and wonder what is it about the show that makes us go mad then you will find many reasons. Say the beautiful script, good characterization, the big and consistent cast, and the unique identity of every actor is the reason why the show still manages to make us laugh even after the span of 12 years.
On the other hand, we have Disha Vakani, one of the most simple yet beautiful actresses in the telly world. She is the lady who makes us laugh with her two of the most heard dialogues, HEY MAA MATAJI and TAPU KE PAPA. She played the role of Daya from 2008-17 and later on, after great demand from fans, she did few cameos in 2018 and 2019.
Disha Vakani is still on maternity leave for 2 years and we don’t see her returning anytime soon. But, let’s hope for the best. Sundarlal who plays her on-screen brother in the show is her real brother, yes, we know that was not expected. She is married to Mumbai-based Chartered Accountant Mayur Padia in 2015 and after 2 years, in November 2017, they together became the parents of a cute daughter, Stuti Padia.
