In the upcoming episode of Neela Film Productions Private Limited’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Jethaalal is going to have a heart wrenching experience when Babeetta gets upset with him for losing Iyer’s phone.
As Iyer slips on a banana peel, he falls and inadvertently drops the phone he is holding in his hand, damaging it. Turns out he was holding Babeetta’s phone at the time and is an extremely expensive one. But with Jethaalal present at the time, Babeetta requests him to fix it for her and without any hesitation, Jethaalal happily obliges. Soon as Jethaalal reaches his shop, he asks Bagha to get it fixed and within no time, Bagha returns with a fully working phone. However, some unknown people barge into Gada Electronics and demand Jethaalal to pay up the money owed to them. Jethaalal is caught clueless about who the people are and while he tries to protest, they snatch the phone from Bagha’s hand and run away with it.
Back in Gokuldhaam Society, Babeetta and Iyer are getting restless as they wait for Jethaalal’s call to inform them if the phone has been fixed. They are eagerly awaiting Jethaalal to tell them the phone has been fixed but little do they know that the phone has been stolen and that too right from under Jethaalal’s nose. Jethaalal, on the other hand, is in a dilemma about telling the truth since he does not want to break Babeetta’s heart. He is also nervous about the impending wrath of Iyer over losing such an expensive phone. How will Jethaalal face Babeetta and Iyer? Will he confess to what transpired? Will they understand and go soft on him or will Babeetta get upset with him?
