Vasudha, the Zee TV show produced by Arvind Babbal Productions, has seen engaging drama with Dadisa’s (Kiran Bhargava) health condition deteriorating with the passage of time. However, she has not given her consent for the surgery yet, as Chandrika (Parineeta Borthakur) has not fulfilled her third condition of accepting Vasudha (Priya Thakur) as her daughter-in-law. As we know, though Chandrika believes that Vasudha is the best wife for Dev (Abhishek Sharrma), she cannot wholeheartedly accept her, as it is predicted that Vasudha’s acceptance will be the death of Prabhat Singh Chauhan.
We wrote about Chandrika’s dilemma as she cannot see her mother-in-law lose her life in front of her. At the same time, she cannot give her consent and put her husband’s life in jeopardy.
We wrote about Chandrika whipping herself to inflict punishment. The dramatic scene will see Vasudha running to her rescue. The upcoming episode will see Vasudha running to stop Chandrika after knowing about the prediction.
It will be a highly emotional sequence where Vasudha will have no option but to stand protecting Chandrika’s back. Chandrika will whip Vasudha unknowingly, and will suddenly realise and stop. Vasudha will tell Chandrika about her knowing of the prediction. Vasudha will wholeheartedly agree that she should not accept her at the cost of her husband’s life. The two of them will work on a deal together, and in front of God, will decide to put up a fake development of acceptance. Chandrika will go home and tell her family about accepting Vasudha and fulfilling Dadisa’s condition. However, both Vasudha and Chandrika will be well aware of all of it being a pretence.

Vasudha is a compelling story that delves into the fascinating dynamics between two women from entirely different worlds – whose paths cross, leading to a clash of ideologies, temperaments and socioeconomic backgrounds, promising a narrative unlike any other on Indian television. Chandrika Singh Chauhan’s character is played by Nausheen Ali Sardar while Priya Thakur is seen in the titular role of Vasudha. Abhishek Sharma plays the lead Devansh Singh Chauhan. However, presently, Nausheen has been replaced by Parineeta Borthakur. The show is produced by Arvind Babbal Productions.
