Wagle Ki Duniya – Naayi Peedhi Naye Kissey on Sony SAB is throwing a major curveball as our beloved Rajesh Wagle (Sumeet Raghavan) suffers a heart attack scare and is now at a major risk. It is known for quite a while that Rajesh Wagle is not at his best as he was a recent victim to a bank scam. Further to growing problems in his work life, he has been unable to attain a much-needed work-life balance. Rajesh has always been a hands-on father and now, with his boss breathing down on his neck and with Maya stealing credit for his ideas, he is stressed and has not even been able to be there for his kids and his family leading to him being very tensed and depressed.
Finally, the stress piles up and in one such frenzy moment, Rajesh collapses on the ground and suffers from a heart attack. Stress is an inevitable part of our everyday lives. Rajesh’s heart attack is a testimony to the plight of every common man who sees chaos in uncertainty. Afterall, he was simply trying his best to save his company and provide a better life for his family.

Wagle Ki Duniya – Naayi Peedhi Naaye Kissey is a true reflection of the day-to-day hiccups in the lives of a common man. In a country when mental health is not recognized as a disease and people refrain to talk about it, Sony SAB aims to highlight and raise awareness of the subsequent mental health issues brought by work and domestic life. Rajesh’s plight is an indication that sometimes trying your best is not enough and it is important to be self-aware when feeling overwhelmed and communicate that feeling so that it does not spiral and get out of hand.

Sumeet Raghavan who essays the role of Rajesh Wagle says, “I am very happy that Wagle Ki Duniya is shedding light on the importance to maintain a sound mental health. I empathize with Rajesh’s plight and more than often we as human being are caught between the nuisances of every life. While one cannot predict these unforeseen circumstances, it is very important to take out time for your life and your family. The need to communicate and at the same time knowing when to take some time off to unwind and rejuvenate is the messaging that we want to put across. Sony SAB is taking a big step by focusing on this issue and highlighting the same. I hope the viewers take a cue and start taking care of their mental well-being. As for Rajesh, stay tuned to Wagle Ki Duniya for more updates.”
