Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Star Plus television show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut, saw major drama with Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) coming to terms with Maira’s (Arshiya Shama) changed behaviour, and understanding that Maira is finding it tough to move on and swallow her happiness for her parents’ sake. The upcoming episode will see a very unexpected moment when Armaan and Kabeer will meet and greet each other. Amid their awkwardness, they will strike a bond, which will start with a light-hearted moment and will end rather emotionally. Kabeer will be seen telling Armaan that Maira loves him a lot. The very mention of Maira will make Kabeer sad, and Armaan will notice the pain in his eyes.

The show had a very good run and made the actors household names. Naitik and Akshara ruled television for a long time. The first generation leap in the story introduced Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi, who became stupendously popular for their lead roles of Kartik and Naira. Mohsin and Shivangi’s fan following and popularity grew with this Jodi. Their exit brought Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod to play the leads of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Later, the show introduced the fourth-generation leads with Shehzada Dhami and Samridhii Shukla. However, both Shehzada Dhami and the parallel lead, Pratiksha Honkar, were replaced by Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani. Garvita later exited the show.
