The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anuj Kapadia telling Anupamaa that people think business is run by money but Business, house, company is run by people. She has the talent to make relations with people. He says he will learn more from her than she will learn from him. Anupamaa thanks him and says tomorrow is Ganapati Bappa’s day and she will have a new beginning in her life. Baa while preparing modak says they will establish Ganapati in karkhana as well. Kavya says they will get modak from the market. Baa says homemade modak is better and Anupamaa used to prepare it every year. Kavya provokes Baa, says Anupamaa has not yet come back, signing the paper doesn’t take so long. Anuj drops Anupamaa outside and says he will call an auto for her. Anupamaa says she has brought her car, her bahu Kinjal has taught her how to drive.
Anuj says he is proud of her and asks for her number and gives her a missed call. She says she has his number as she had taken it from Devika. Pakhi and Samar return home with decorations for the Ganapati festival. Baa tells them to decorate kharkana as well this time. Samar says they can invite Anuj also. Vanraj says no need to invite outsiders as they will keep barging in their house. Samar says Kavya used to barge in their house too. Vanraj says Kavya was different. Vanraj and Samar argue and Vanraj yells at him. Samar says if he continues to push him he will stop talking to him. Kavya says Samar has become Anuj’s puppet. If this continues Anuj will take all his three children away from him. Baa tells her to stop. Anupamaa is waiting in the car for Devika. She informs her that she said yes to Anuj’s offer. Devika gets happy and thanks her for saying yes.
Anupamaa thanks her for forcing her to say yes. She says she was right as at this age when a woman tries to climb a ladder many people try to pull her down. But rarely people like Anuj hold the ladder. Devika says this will be the best decision of her life. GK informs Anuj his desire to invite the Shah family for Ganpati festival. Anuj says no as GK gets emotional every time he sees Anupamaa. GK says he sees Radha Krishna in Anupamaa and Anuj. After a lot of insisting Anuj agrees. Vanraj tells the family that no one will go to Anuj’s house. Kavya thinks about how to explain to him that there is benefit in befriending Anuj. Bapuji says he will go. Anupamaa comes home, Baa yells at her for causing problems between son and father. Bapuji tells her to not pay attention to it.
Vanraj says he will call Anuj and tell him to stay away from his family. Kavya stops him saying Anuj is a big man and will ruin their lives, and that he should instead vent his anger on Anupamaa. GK prepares modak and asks what he shall gift Anupamaa. Anuj says his mother’s necklace. GK says it’s a good idea, Anuj says he was joking as if Anupamaa finds about their intentions she will never come here. He says she has already warned him to maintain a professional relationship. He adds that Vanraj is always frowning, he is either jealous of Anupamaa’s success, or doesn’t like them working together. GK jokes that Vanraj frowns but is very fit so can trash them both. Anuj says if Vanraj doesn’t like him, he won’t interfere in Anupamaa’s personal life but if their professional life is disturbed he won’t hold back.
