The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa praying to God that this time responsibilities are big and so are opportunities, so she needs his help. Bapuji blesses Anupamaa. She touches Baa’s feet but she backs off. Mamaji holds Baa, so she blesses Anupamaa. Kinjal tells her to not worry about the house. Anupamaa tells her to concentrate on her meeting as she has already prepared the food. The auto comes, Toshu asks if her friend didn’t send an auto for her. Anupamaa says he didn’t as he is her business partner more than a friend. Vanraj wishes her all the best. Kavya tells her to have fun with Anuj, to which Anupamaa replies she will. She sits in the auto confidently and heads to the airport. GK drives Anuj to the airport. Their car breaks down. Anuj gets tensed thinking Anupamaa will be waiting for them. He runs towards the airport. Anupamaa seeing him asks if he wants to jog towards their plan as he does to the office. Anuj says yes, she says that’s the reason he is so fit.
Neighbours ask Baa where Anupamaa went as her daughter saw her with someone at the airport. Baa yells at them saying they are going to make a big issue out of it. The neighbors say they were just asking. Bapuji calms Baa, she says they will have to suffer humiliation because of Anupama. Anupamaa checks in and gets very excited. Samar informs the family that Anupamaa has checked in. Anupamaa sees the air hostess and compliments her for being beautiful saying she should work in films. Anuj shows Anupamaa her seat. Anupamaa says Kinjal told her that front seats are very costly. Anuj says business class tickets are a little pricey than economy class. Anupamaa advises him to not spend his money on unnecessary things.
Samar tells Bapuji that Mr Shah acts well sometimes and other times he acts weird. Bapuji says Vanraj wants to be happy for Anupamaa’s success but the environment around him doesn’t let him do so. Samar asks what he means. Bapuji explains that men are taught that they are the providers in the house and should provide for women. So when a woman goes ahead they naturally start feeling insecure and jealous. He says he hopes Vanraj stops being jealous.
On the flight, Anuj shows Anupamaa how to put on a seatbelt and calls the air hostess to help her. Another fellow passenger laughs at Anupamaa for not knowing how to fix her seatbelt, but stops laughing after seeing Anuj’s angry face. Anupamaa tells him that everyone respects him so much, Anuj recites a Shayari. Kavya tells Vanraj that he is not that different from Anuj as Anuj is still waiting for Anupamaa and he even after breaking up with her is still attached to her. She asks what is between them that their relationship can’t be broken completely.
