The episode of Anupamaa starts with Baa seeing herself in the middle of the ceremony. She asks what is this misbehaviour. Samar tells her that she is misbehaving by not attending her grandson’s engagement. She says that she will walk out, Samar says she has to walk on his dead body then. Baa agrees to attend the function and goes to dress. Baa comes out after dressing, Nandini jokes that no one will look at her now. Baa says that Samar was looking at her all day, Nandini gets shy. Advait comes and Anupamaa goes to talk to him. Vanraj looks at them, Kavya asks him if he is jealous. He says no and goes to talk to him.
The engagement program starts, Anupamaa narrates a poem. She tells Samar and Nandini to remember that they are in love and always trust each other. She tells them that their life partner is all in the family and not just one. Nandini tells Samar to inform the family about her secret. He signals her not now. Vanraj blesses Nandini and Samar. Everyone starts dancing. Advait captures the dance moments, He compliments Anupamaa for her dance. Anupamaa says that she can dance all day. Nandini tells Samar to at least inform Anupamaa. He tells her to think about Anupamaa’s happiness.
Nandini feels bad for not telling the truth to Samar’s family. She pulls Anupamaa aside saying that she wants to tell her something. Nandini tells her that she wanted to inform them about this for a really long time. She says that due to her illness and divorce she was not able to. Anupamaa tells her to say whatever is bothering her. Nandini takes her outside she says that when she was in America she met with an accident trying to save a small girl. She says she injured her stomach, doctors had to do surgery and remove her uterus. Nandini says that she can never become a mother. Baa hears their conversation and is shocked.
Nandini asks Anupamaa if she will still accept her as a bahu. Baa comes inside and throws away the sweet that Samar gives her. Anupamaa tells Nandini to calm down. She says that can’t write her destiny then why is she blaming herself. Anupamaa tells her to come with her and tell their family. Baa tells everyone that Anupamaa has hidden from them that Nandini can’t be a mother. Baa tells Kavya that she is her masi she must have known. Kavya says that she knew about the accident but wasn’t aware of this. Baa threatens to slap her. Samar says that she really didn’t know. Vanraj says how dare Anupamaa hides such a big thing from them. Samar says that mummy didn’t know. Vanraj tells Samar to stop defending his mother. Anupamaa comes with Nandini and tells Vanraj to calm down.
