The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa telling Vanraj that he can send the divorce papers so that she can sign on them.
Anupamaa says that their relationship is burnt, as she saw Vanraj and Kavya in bed, so now there is no use of carrying ashes. Anupamaa says that she prayed to God to keep Vanraj and Anupamaa together for 7 lives, but today their one life feels like a burden on her.
Vanraj says that he will send the divorce papers. Anupamaa thanks Vanraj for bearing her and her family for 25 years.
Vanraj sees Pakhi crying and hugs her. Pakhi asks him to stay. Vanraj says that he can’t stay in this house, he wants Pakhi to come with him. Pakhi gets confused and hugs Toshu. Then, Vanraj says that he will not touch Baa and Bapuji’s feet as he knows that they will not bless him. Vanraj asks Mamaji to take care of Baa and Bapuji.
Vanraj takes his bag and car keys. Vanraj tells Anupamaa that he wants to see how she will handle the house without Vanraj. Vanraj leaves.
Later, Kavya is happy to see Vanraj. Kavya hugs him and says that she is happy that Vanraj decided to stay with her.
Meanwhile, Pakhi is upset. Anupamaa takes breakfast for her. Pakhi tells Anupamaa that she could have convinced Vanraj and asked him to stay, as she knows that Pakhi needed his mom and dad both.
Bapuji tells Baa that Vanraj made a mistake and deserved punishment. Baa tells Bapuji that Anupamaa is very nice but not a match to Vanraj.
