The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kavya telling Dolly to shut up. Pakhi warns Kavya to not talk like that to Dolly Aunty. Dolly tells Kavya that she should help them find Vanraj or she will file a complaint against her that Vanraj left because of her. Meanwhile, Vanraj is thinking of going back thinking about how his family may be feeling. Anupamaa asks Kavya to inquire to old colleagues and friends about Vanraj. Kavya says that Vanraj cannot do this to her, she will die without him. She starts crying and runs away.
Vanraj is walking on the bridge tensely. The family comes out to search for Vanraj, they see a police jeep and are shocked. The police asked if this is Vanraj Shah’s house. Anupamaa says yes and says he is her husband. The police show her a phone and ask if it belongs to her husband. She says yes, he tells her they found it near a dead body. It looks like a suicide case, the body is in the jeep so she should verify it. Everyone is shocked, Anupamaa says that Vanraj cannot do this and walks towards the jeep.
After seeing the body Anupamaa runs and hugs Pakhi and says it’s not Vanraj. The police orders the constable to send the body for post mortem. Anupamaa asks if they can file a missing complaint, he says only after 24 hours. Pakhi says she hopes papa is fine, Anupamaa says her heart tells her he is fine. Kavya continues crying for Vanraj, she records the last message for him and drops her phone.
Anupamaa tells Pakhi to take care of Meenu while they look for Vanraj. She says that he will be found soon. Kavya asks her how can she be so sure. Anupamaa says that she knows him for 25 years and he can’t run away from responsibilities. Kavya asks her then why he wrote such letter. She says that because Vanraj was worried that his family won’t accept him. Kavya says that she thinks Vanraj loves Anupamaa. Anupamaa tells her that there was no love between there. Their relationship was just arranged. Kavya says that she will die if she doesn’t marry Vanraj. Anupamaa promises to fulfill her dream. Vanraj calls Anupamaa she asks him where he is, Kavya snatches the phone from her and it gets disconnected.
After two days Anupamaa is thinking about Vanraj’s letter and prays to God to tell her where he is. She says it’s been two days and everyone is worried for him. Toshu comes and tells her why she didn’t inform him before. He calls the inspector to check if they have any news. Nandini asks Toshu if the police have found anything. He asks her about Samar, she says he has gone to hotels to check if uncle has checked in. He says papa did wrong by taking such a decision. She says pakhi and Sweety and crying continuously. And Kavya is in shock for two days.
