Today’s Imlie episode starts with Imlie recalling Narmada’s harsh words that she can’t touch the newspaper of Bhaskar Times. Sundar brings something and she assumes it’s food. She says she doesn’t want to eat, he shows her the newspaper and she gets delighted. She starts reading the paragraph where her poem got published. They both read it and he says people should also know she is the poet. But Imlie says she doesn’t want to gain popularity by revealing her name and she just wants to help people through her poems. She thanked Sundar for the nice gesture. Sundar says he kept all the papers where her poems got published. Imlie says she thought no one reads them with this much importance. Atharv reads the poem and says he loves the Shayaris.
He is trying to find her for so long as their thoughts are similar. He recalls how he saw Chini when the dupatta fell on him. He says he found her but couldn’t learn her name yet. Imlie hides the papers when Arpita and Rupy come in. Arpita asks her what she is hiding. They think Imlie is hiding her old phone and Rupy says it’s been so long Imlie didn’t buy a new phone and the old one doesn’t work properly. She tells Imlie to go to the market with Chini to buy a phone. Chini shows the phone models to Imlie and then she sees the latest model which is too pricey but has lots of features. Imlie tells her to take it but Chini says she recently bought a phone and she can’t afford the new model as she is not that rich like Imlie. Imlie gives her new phone to Chini without hesitation and takes her old phone to make her happy.
Then in Imlie, Chini gets delighted and thinks Imlie is such a fool. Rupy gets angry seeing Chini give Imlie her old phone. Anu says if Chini gets something good then why Rupy has a problem? She is Chini’s own aunt. Anu says she manipulates Chini always to snatch rights from Imlie, or else she will get nothing from the property. Just as Imlie destroyed Malini years ago, she will not let this Imlie destroy Chini’s life. Rupy says it’s high time Anu should change her mindset and the generation has changed so Anu should not brainwash Chini. Rupy decides to stop Anu from doing so. Devika comes to talk to Atharv and says Rudra is really impressed by his actions and the way he helped Parul. Atharv says no matter what he does he will never get Rudra’s appreciation. Rudra calls his work a waste of time and tells him to join the business. He doesn’t care about his happiness.
Later in Imlie, Devika makes him sit and says Rudra wants good for his future only. So Atharv should take his words seriously. Mahesh and Rudra visit Imlie’s house and Anu wonders why these rich businessmen came here. Rudra says he wants something from Narmada, so he purposely came here. Atharv’s siblings tease Atharv saying he didn’t know his dream girl’s name yet. Atharv says she is their Bhabhi. His siblings tell them that he should get her number first. He talks to his sister’s friends one by one who was present at the wedding to get Chini’s number. He makes excuses why he wants her number from them. He finally gets Imlie’s number from a lady named Bhavna.
Lastly in Imlie, Atharv calls Imlie and asks her if she knows the girl who helped Parul at her wedding. Imlie thinks about who is asking about her own act without knowing her name. Atharv thinks maybe Imlie knows something about Chini as the latter came with her. He utters Imlie and before she can answer Chini takes away the phone and cuts the call. She tells her not to waste time. Chini gets excited seeing her new phone. Atharv says though he couldn’t know her name when he will find Chini again, he wants to tell the whole world that he loves her. His siblings think he is really serious about her and he has got no patience.
