The episode starts with Hema burning Gehna’s mother’s sari. Gehna tries to pick it up with her hands and says that it was her mother’s only gift. Hema’s kids ask Gopi to play with them. Gopi asks them what they want to play. The kids say that it is Navratri and Ram Ji killed Ravan on the 9th day, so they want to play Ram and Seeta.
Kokila tells Praful that they will meet Hetal’s relatives in Rajkot and then return home. Praful asks Kokila to return after visiting her relatives. Gopi is thinking to inform Kokila about Ahem. Gehna trying to save the sari, forcefully tries to set off the fire with her hands. Kanak scolds Hema for setting the fire. Anant enters and stops Gehna. Kanak tells Anant not to touch the maid’s hand as it is not Desai family culture.
Anant replies that he does not care. He goes out and sends someone to clean all the mess. Gehna cries seeing her mother’s Sari and Mangalsutra burned. Sagar enters and thinks of punishing Gehna, but he hides seeing Anant. Anant offers her medicine to apply.
Gopi informs Kokila that Ahem is alive. Kokila wants to meet him. They both go to Gopi Kaka’s room and knock. He opens the door, Kokila hugs him and he pushes her away. Kokila hits her forehead to a stick. Gopi Kaka warns Gopi to stay away from him if she tries to get someone else he will hit them also. Gopi gets up from the sleep (it was a dream).
Next morning, Anant walks to Gehna and asks what she wants from Matarani. Gehna asks him to fix the flowers on the temple door. Later, Praful and Jamna perform pooja and give Arti to everyone. Anant prays to Matarani to keep his parents happy and give him the strength to protect them.
Precap: Kanak gives food to Gehna in an old plate, to which Anant asks why is Gehna eating food in such a plate, and why she is sitting separately.
