The episode of Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 starts with Chetan suggesting Praful that he should deposit his retirement corpus check. Praful says that he will visit the bank and deposit the cheque. Praful asks Anant to accompany him till the bank. Gehna arrives at the dining table. Anant asks Gehna to have food with them.
Meanwhile, Gopi Kaka changes his clothes and asks Ahem Singh Garodia (Gopi) to clean his back and change his clothes. Kanak serves dal chawal on an old plate. Anant asks Gehna why is she eating in an old plate. Anant asks Jamna what is happening, why Kanak is not serving Gehna our food. Gehna replies that it is her mother’s plate and she likes dal chawal.
Gopi thinks that she is married to Ahem and is living with Jaggi, and now that Ahem is alive she needs to inform Jaggi about Ahem. Gehna is walking towards Gopi Kaka’s room when Anant stops her. He brings food for Gehna and asks her to have it in the plate he bought just for one day. Gehna asks Anant to be with his family.
Ahem Singh Garodia (Gopi) tries to burn Gopi’s pic. Gopi Kaka takes it and he burns it. Gopi gets upset.
