The episode of Sasural Simar Ka 2 starts with Roma and Choti Simar bringing Reema for her haldi ceremony. Sandhya tells Reema that she looks beautiful. Aditi hands over the bridal lehenga to Reema. Reema tells Choti Simar that the lehenga just cost lakhs of rupees. Choti Simar says her sister is worth crores. Everyone applies haldi for Reema. Choti Simar applies Haldi as well and tells Reema that this colour is like her relationship with Aarav, never let it fade. They all click family pictures together and enjoying the moment. Devesh calls, Choti Simar picks up the phone and tells him to not call her sister. He says that this is a golden opportunity and he just wants Reema’s sign. She says no opportunity is bigger than marriage.
Simar tells Indu and Avinash that Badi Maa dislikes music and dance. She requests them to cancel the sangeet program. Avinash says they will cancel it. Aditi says it’s unfair. Devesh comes in, Reema and Choti Simar are shocked to see him. Reema gets tensed, Avinash asks Reema if she is fine. Choti Simar says Reema is worried about decorations, she will go and check. She goes to Devesh and asks him why he came inside. She tells him to leaves as Reema’s in-laws are there as well.
Devesh says that he won’t leaves without taking Reema’s sign. He says he can tell Reema’s in-laws that she didn’t say no to the competition. He signals Reema and goes inside. Reema says that something went in her eyes. Choti Simar takes her to the washroom, Simar sees them going and follows them. Reema asks Choti Simar if she made Devesh leave, Devesh comes into their room. Reema asks him what he is doing here. Choti Simar says she tried to make him leave.
Devesh tries to convince Reema to sign the Mrs India contest. She says that if she loses the contest she will lose everything she can’t take the risk. He tells her that she is not made for marriage but to be a beauty queen. Choti Simar tells Devesh to not make marriage a joke. He tries to convince Reema, she then takes the paper and signs it. Choti Simar asks her why she is signing it. Reema tells Devesh to leave immediately. While leaving the room Simar comes in and sees them all together.
