In today’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah episode Tapu Sena is doing garba in the club house. Then Goli turns off the speaker. Gogi asks Goli why he turned it off. Pinku asks Gogi if he is hungry. Gogi says no as they are going to do garba at night and have fun so they need energy for it. They all go home to get ready. Natu Kaka and Bagha are waiting for Jethalal as it’s 7:30 pm already and he has to perform aarti at 8:30 pm. Natu Kaka says that Sethji might have directly gone home. Then they both decide to get ready and go to Gokuldham society. Bapuji tries to call Jethalal but his phone is not reachable. Bapuji gets angry at Jethalal. He decides to go and get ready. Everyone gathers in the society compound for the aarti. They all compliment each other and the decoration. Popatlal comes and asks Bhide where Jethalal is. Bhide tells Popatlal that he is society’s secretary and not Jethalal’s secretary, so he doesn’t know where Jethalal is.
Then in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Bhide and Sodhi call out Jethalal from the compound but Jethalal does not answer. Bhide and Taarak go up to call Jethalal for the aarti. Bapuji roams here and there and is wondering where Jethalal is. Then Bapuji decides to go down for the aarti. Bhide and Taarak tell Chachaji not to come alone but to bring Jethalal as well. Bapuji says that Jethalal is not home. Bapuji calls Bagha and Natu Kaka and asks where Jethalal is. They tell him that Jethalal has gone to Lonavala for his business meeting. Everyone gets angry at Jethalal as he himself requested everyone to give the chance to perform the first aarti. Then the police come to the society. Bapuji thinks that Jethalal might be in trouble, that is why police are here. Police inspector asks where the secretary is. Bhide asks the inspector what happened.
Lastly in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the police officers inform Bhide and the society members that they should play garba only till 10:00 pm. Everyone decides to play garba only till 11:00 pm and inform the police that they will not play after that. The police officers tell them that they are not here to listen to them but instead they are ordering them off the music system by 10:00 pm. They tell them that they will come again at 10:00 pm for patrolling. They all agree with the officers and then the officers leave. Goli says that he will only get to play garba till 10:00 pm only. Chachaji says that at least we should be glad that we can celebrate the festival with our family but the officers and their nation’s soldiers keep all the enjoyment away and try to protect everyone. Then Bhide tells Bapuji that it is already 8:30 pm and they should perform the aarti and Bhide tells Bapuji to perform it. Bapuji denies doing the aarti. They all go to the mandap and then Jethalal arrives.
