In today’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah episode Anjal and Taarak invite Chachaji for dinner and Chachaji enjoys the dinner. After the dinner Anjali offers Chachaji gulab jamun and the three enjoy the meal. Chachaji appreciates Anjali and tells her that the food was very tasty. Taarak tells Chachaji to come for dinner everyday. Anjali says to Taarak that he is smart to invite Chachaji everyday so that with Chachaji he would also eat oily and tasty food daily and ruin his diet. Taarak jokes to Chachaji that now before marrying anyone if Kundali doesn’t match it’s fine but the boy should confirm that the girl is not diet conscious. Chachaji tells Taarak that he should be glad that he married a woman like Anjali who takes care of his health. Then Chachaji asks Taarak when Jethalal is coming. Taarak says that he was not able to contact Jethalal today.
Then in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Chachaji feels strange as Jethalal has not called him for the past two days. Taarak and Anjali tell Chachaji not to worry as Jethalal will come early. Then Chachaji goes home and he receives a phone call. He picks up but nobody speaks, he hangs up the call. It happened thrice and then Chachaji thinks that it is Jethalal who is doing a prank with him. Chachaji says Jetha on the phone and Simone removes the cat’s voice. Chachaji identifies it as his friend. Then his friend tells him that he has completely forgotten them as he is not coming to them at all. Chachaji tells that Jethalal has gone to America and he has told him to avoid going out and also Gokuldham members take due care of him. His friend tells him that he is very lucky. Then Bhide checks that everyone has given their maintenance cheques but only Jethalal is left.
Lastly in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Bhide misses Jethalal. Madhavi comes and jokes that he misses Daya. Sonu comes and says that she misses Tapu. Then Bhide gets a call from Soda shop and they all go to Abdul’s shop to drink soda. They all decide at the soda shop when Jethalal will come. Iyer jokes that he thinks that Jethalal has settled in the US permanently. Sodhi says that Jethalal can never leave Gokuldham society. Abdul says that not Jethalal but no one will leave Gokuldham. They believe that Jethalal will come early and they all go home. Jethalal’s flight lands in Mumbai and he is very happy to be back. He screams Bharat Maya ki Jay and everyone looks at him. He says sorry and moves forward. His friends come and ask him who came to pick him up. Jethala says no one as he wants to surprise everyone. One stranger standing at the back listens to everything. Jethalal sits in the taxi and proceeds to go home.
